Masquerade is a creative image layout component for Elements. It turns one image into polished, high-impact compositions that feel editorial, modern, and intentionally designed.
Instead of building repeated image grids or duplicating the same picture across multiple blocks, Masquerade works with a strict single-image concept. Each layout variant slices or arranges one source image into connected visual sections, creating a refined composition with depth, spacing, shadows, and shape.
Choose from curated layout styles such as Center Peak, Soft Wave, Triptych, Curtain Fold, Shutter Slats, Poster Fold, Mosaic Cut, Diagonal Shards, Arch Windows, and Magazine Strips. Each variant is designed for a distinct visual mood, from clean editorial panels to dynamic shard-like compositions and premium magazine-inspired image treatments.
Masquerade is ideal for:
* Hero images with strong visual impact
* Portfolio and agency websites
* Editorial pages
* Product and app showcases
* Landing pages
Modern content sections that need more presence than a standard image
When motion is enabled, the separate image pieces subtly assemble back into the original image. Gaps close, corner rounding is reduced, and the final corner radius is applied only to the outer corners of the complete image. The animation stays smooth, controlled, and visually refined.
Inside the Elements editor, Masquerade keeps the workflow simple and predictable. The editor displays the normal image or image drop zone, while the full masking and motion effects appear in Preview and Export.
Masquerade is CSS-based, requires no additional runtime JavaScript, and is built for a clean, reliable single-image workflow.
